Military-Veterans Advocacy is excited to announce that Niagara Falls, New York will be the site of the third annual Veterans Get Outside Day on Saturday June 14, 2025. Old Falls Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for the event. The commercial, government, and non-profit vendors will be set up on Old Falls Street between First Street and the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park. This is a free event for attendees. Hundreds of people are expected throughout the day as this is the first big tourist weekend of the season and the main pedestrian walkway to Niagara Falls State Park.
Vendors can access their sites from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event. Opening ceremonies will take place at the stage on Old Falls Street at 11 a.m. with closing ceremonies at 4:30 p.m.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend Veterans Get Outside Day. The event will connect Veterans with available resources and encourage outdoor activities to improve mental health. While the event focuses on honoring Veterans and connecting them with resources, it will be open to the public and will be advertised throughout New England and beyond.
About 50 vendors can participate in the event which provides a showcase for local businesses. Some of the events planned include:
BOOTH FEES - Retail Vendors: $50; Food Vendors: $100
Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’. Vendors must supply their own tent or canopy, tables, chairs, etc. If you need an area larger than 10 x 10, you can register for more than one space.
Booths for government agencies and nonprofits that support Veterans at no cost are free.
PAYMENT can be made online through the link above or by check. Checks are to be made payable to: Military Veterans Advocacy and sent to Post Office Box 5235, Slidell, LA 70469-5235.

- Self guided trail recommendations for Niagara Falls State Park
- Representatives from Veterans Affairs Healthcare and Benefits and New York Veteran Services
- Entertainment throughout the day
- Adaptive sports information
- Additional activities are being planned
